Mystical Dance is inspired by the poetry and movement of the whirling dervish. Sweeping layers of colour and expressive marks create a sense of circular motion, while the figure emerges within the surrounding abstraction.
The work explores the contrast between outward movement and inward stillness — the idea that rhythm, repetition and surrender can become a pathway toward reflection and connection.
