A quiet place of shelter within the vastness of the desert.

A Place to Rest is inspired by the light and geological forms of Wadi Rum. Warm layers of ochre, burnt orange and earth tones surround a luminous opening, creating the sense of a protected space held within the landscape.

The central light suggests refuge rather than destination — a moment to stop, gather strength and simply be still before continuing forward.

The work reflects the restorative quality of landscape and the quiet resilience found in moments of pause.

Sometimes moving forward begins with allowing ourselves a place to rest.
