Eye of the Storm

$450.00

A moment of stillness held within the movement of a storm.

Eye of the Storm explores the strange calm that can exist at the centre of turbulence. Circling layers of yellow, gold and blue draw the eye toward a luminous centre, while vertical marks below suggest rain, landscape and the movement of a tropical storm.

Inspired by the intensity of storms over Cairns, the work reflects resilience not as resistance to change, but as the ability to find stillness within it.

Even within the storm, there can be a place of calm.

Medium: Acrylic and oil on canvas
Dimensions: 30 × 60 cm
