Grandmother & Granddaughter

During the school holidays, my granddaughter joined me in the studio.
She painted the faces; I followed, building layers, softening, and letting the work evolve into abstraction.

Some pieces became light, tunnels, and quiet passages; others held onto the figure and emotion she began.

These works carry both of us, instinct, play, and transformation.
